My family loves all those great deli-style mustard brands on sandwiches and grilled sausage. Unfortunately, they can be expensive.  Use coupons and watching for sales is a good way to have some in supply.  Another way is to MAKE YOUR OWN!  This can be a fun family project. Each family member mixes their favorite ingredients, then we sample them and vote on the ones we like best.

Take Ground Mustard Powder, Mix with Water, Wine or Beer to proper consistency, then add your choice of any: horseradish, honey, jam, pepper,  herbs, spices, coarsely ground mustard seeds.

 Did you know that if you press regular plastic wrap onto the top of opened ice cream after each use, you will TOTALLY ELIMINATE FREEZER BURN..and your ice cream will last for months! 

*Make sure the plastic wrap is pressed tightly against the ice cream itself...I tear the piece bigger than it looks like is needed, then just pat it down onto the top of the ice cream and close lid on top...It really works!
